
Regular practices reduce overall stress levels to promote mental, physical, and emotional well-being. The mind-body connection is strengthened. The relaxation of the mind and body stimulates the parasympathetic nervous system to assist stress reduction.
Mindful techniques specifically increase awareness and attention. The improvement of these skills show up in professional and personal settings and it is amazing to suddenly notice things that were always there.
Techniques focus specifically on what is happening in the body and the choice to make a change. Recognizing patterns and transforming discomfort into empowerment is the cornerstone of somatic work.
I am a woman who believes in supporting other women in all aspects of life. My life is focused on wholeness and aligning the body, mind, and spirit, so that we can all grow and expand. I can honestly say that my life has included several huge misalignments. The great news is that any decision can be changed. I love to learn from it all!
I credit a daily meditation practice with my continuous growth. I have over 15 years of mindfulness and compassion meditation experience with a certification from The Path, a world-renowned certificate program. I continue to deepen my meditation practice by attending workshops and retreats every year.
The last few years have taught me how important it is to practice embodiment, tap more into my feminine, and expand my awareness for more growth. This sparked and big life change, including enrollment in Somatic Coaching Academy, where I received certifications in Core Centering and Cross Mapping.

Belief that the mind must be free of thoughts is not true. Meditation teaches us to be aware of our thoughts so that we really get to know ourselves. The intention is not to shut down or clear the mind. Every meditator has thoughts!
Most people cannot commit to long practices. And that is ok! The key is to implement to most efficient micro-practices into your everyday life. But do not be surprised if you find yourself WANTING longer practices because you enjoy it.
It is common to try one technique and give up. But there are different practices, different approaches, and different coaches. And you get to choose your own adventure. Because only YOU know what is best for you!
